UPDATE: 2013.
I regrettably have not uploaded any photographs in about 4months, which is very usual for me.
No, no, no,I haven’t been just sitting around, I’ve been working too much and getting my head down in the academic part of my studies. Now that most of that is over and I’ve cut my shifts down, I’m getting down to taking some serious photographs, and starting up some bodies of work again.
I’ve just started a series titled “Finding Myself”, the first part is in medium format 120mm film, and are long exposure self-portraits of me dealing with the different parts of my depression.
Since this is a completely new and explored body of work, I am very excited with the results that I got. And in the future I am going to plan new work around this area. Especially as to not let my love of analogue and dark room work fail.
I’ve had some requests for personal shoots, as well some music based stuff which I have not done since my old clients Hayloft split (I’ve heard they could be on the way back though! HOORAH)
On new years eve, I set up a semi-photobooth at my workplace and did some nice formal (and sometimes very informal) portraits for the meal guests and other Casino goers. It was a very fun and successful night all round, and I got some business cards out.
Speaking of business cards, hopefully after some more recent landscape work and promotional work, I will have a whole new selection of business cards and stickers again, and this time with postcards.
Very much looking forward to all the new work and ideas coming through. Stay tuned in for all the exciting results.
MTMTS.
